March 1, 1945 – April 6, 2025

To honor the memory of Michael Tell, the longtime publisher of our beloved newspaper – Las Vegas Israelite, we will be going dark momentarily and taking a short hiatus. 

We promise that the Las Vegas Israelite will live on – serving the Jewish community of Southern Nevada.  We are retooling the newspaper with a modern perspective. There will be new columnists; new features; and an abundant amount of information to best serve our Jewish community.  We will continue as a published monthly newspaper in both print and online and will be back in early summer.  

We appreciate the outpouring of love and admiration from the entire Las Vegas community – in all sectors of our City.  Our Uncle Mike was a special man, and we will continue his legacy and his name by publishing information, stories, trends and events in our community.
